Martha Mpanda a dedicated and talented student from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, with a wish to become a medical professional.
Martha is a hard-working student who obtained her advanced level secondary school degree from Mtwara Technical Secondary School in 2019 with a concentration in physics, chemistry and biology.
She wants to attend Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College (https://kcmuco.ac.tz/) for a BSc degree in health laboratory science (https://kcmuco.ac.tz/faculties/faculty-of-medicine/bsc-health-laboratory-science/) in Moshi, Tanzania, but last year was unable to attend due to inability to pay the fees, which are 8,020,000 Tanzian shillings (~3,500 USD) per year. The current goal is to raise funds to pay for her first year of her BSc. The BSc is a 3 year long program, and the total cost over 3 years is 10,600 USD.
Martha's dream is to establish a health center and orphanage, but she needs a medical education in order to open this path for her. The school year begins in November.
