Dear friends and family,
My name is Leo De La Cruz, and I am reaching out on behalf of my dearest friend, Martha Pascasio. Martha is the devoted mother of Javier and Gisselle, who both shine on the soccer field—Javi at NVU and Gisselle at Villareal. Last night, Martha’s world changed forever when she returned home from a quick trip to the store and found her beloved mother had passed away unexpectedly.
Martha is the living definition of a warrior. She has worked tirelessly to provide for her children, always finding a way to be present at both of their games, all while caring for her mother, who bravely endured weekly dialysis for the past seven years. Despite the many challenges she has faced, Martha has never asked for help—she has always found a way to support her family on her own. When I spoke to her about creating this GoFundMe, she was hesitant, but I know how much she deserves our support now.
Martha’s mother’s final wish was to be buried in her home country of El Salvador. As many of you know, funeral expenses are overwhelming, and the cost of sending her mother to El Salvador adds an even greater burden. I am asking our community to come together for Martha and her children during this heartbreaking time. Your support will help honor her mother’s wish and ease the financial strain on this loving family. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference.
