My mother, Martha Sayre, is in desperate need of roof repairs for her home. A few years ago, the roof was leaking so much that the ceiling in one of the upstairs rooms completely collapsed. We have tried numerous times to repair the roof, but haven't had the funds to hire the proper people to do a decent job with it, and each person who has attempted to repair has only essentially placed a bandage on it (one even NAILED something to the roof, which caused more harm than good). We even applied for a city loan to repair the roof, but it has been months and no answer at all if they will approve the funds...and we just can't wait any longer. The roof needs to be repaired soon before more damage is done to the home.

We have gotten estimates from a few roofers, but everything is sadly outside of our budget and she really needs the roof repaired before things get much worse. Every time it rains the house leaks, and the more we wait the more damage it does. So the sooner we can raise these funds, the dryer she can stay. Right now we have set the goal to be $7000 to cover not only the roof repair, but also the GoFundMe fees.
