Initially, this fundraiser began with something simple yet deeply human — a wish to regain a sense of dignity after losing my hair during chemotherapy.

For many women, hair is not just appearance — it’s identity, confidence, and a symbol of normality in the chaos of cancer.

But as my treatment progressed, the situation changed. My oncologists have now recommended immunotherapy, which is available for my cancer type only in a few international, world-class hospitals — including one in Turkey that has already accepted my case.

The estimated cost of this stage of treatment — diagnostics, medication, and hospital stay — is approximately $50,000 (around £40,000).

So while this campaign started as a way to help me feel whole again, it has now become a way to help me keep fighting for my life.
