Help Marshmallow with life changing surgery.

Hi, my name is Naomi and unfortunately my best friend needs my help. My best friend, is my 8 month old Cane Corso, Marshmallow. Unknown until very recently, Marshmallow was born a little different to her siblings. Marshmallow’s spine has not grown as straight as it should and her back legs have a 3cm difference in length, unfortunately over time this has caused Hip Dysplasia. (Her hips are not attached correctly to her pelvis).

Right now, Marshmallow cannot play, nor play with other dogs and is limited to 10 minute walks. If left untreated, Marshmallow’s condition would worsen and not be bearable to live with.

Fortunately, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Although Marshmallow’s spine and leg cannot be changed, her hips can be put back in the correct position and she will live her fullest, happiest and most importantly, pain free life. This will involve DPO surgery, at the cost of €3,800.

It breaks my heart to not be solely in a position to provide the care she needs. Marshmallow has been there for me when I needed her most, now it’s time for me to be there for her but I need a little extra help.
