Help Marshmallow Overcome Pneumonia
Donation protected
Marshmallow was part of a small TNR colony born outdoors under a deck. She initially had typical upper respiratory symptoms & ear infection which resolved with Clavamox but then started getting more settling in her lungs and Azithromycin hasn’t resolved it. I quickly bought a portable nebulizer machine & she’s been getting a lot of relief from that. She was seen by a full service vet 8/13/25 as the community vet clinic does not have an xray machine & had concerns of possible wet FIP. Xray did show Pneumonia but still has to be read by a Radiologist & I will be updated 8/14/25. She has been restarted on Clavamox & a medication Baytril has been added. She did receive IV fluids in clinic as well. Marshmallow & her brother Oreo are kittens that have required more socialization & are not adoption floor ready which unsocial kitties can be more difficult to find Rescue placement for so they are both being fostered by me independently.
