Marshmallow, also known as Pretty Boy, is a senior Siamese cat who has spent years surviving outdoors in Kaneohe and Hauula, cared for by compassionate community members. Recently, his health has taken a turn—he’s developed a badly infected molar causing swelling on his face, and he’s struggling with lameness in a hind leg. Two veterinary exams have shown that Marshmallow urgently needs dental surgery and possibly further testing for cancer. For now, he’s receiving antibiotics and pain medication to keep him comfortable, but his future depends on the next steps.

Marshmallow is currently safe with Love A Cat Charity, where he’s receiving the best care possible. He’s known for his sweet, friendly nature—always gentle with humans, loving pets, and bringing calm wherever he goes. The rescue team is doing everything they can, but the costs for surgery and lab tests are more than any one person or group can manage alone. Without funds, Marshmallow’s options are limited, and he cannot receive the surgery or testing he needs to recover.

We’re asking for help from anyone who cares about cats like Marshmallow. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward his medical care and give him a chance at a pain-free life.
