Help Marshay Blackshear Chase Her Dreams

Since Marshay started track and field at age 11, she has shown incredible commitment and a natural talent for sprinting and long jumping. She trains and rides the BART train four days per week, always pushing herself to improve, and her hard work is paying off. Marshay competes in the 100m dash, 4 x 100m relay, and long jump, and recently received an invitation to the Nike Outdoor Nationals in Oregon. Her relay team is currently ranked number one in California, and they just broke the meet record in Reno. These achievements have now earned her a spot at the Junior Olympics in Texas at the end of this month.


Track and field, especially at a competitive level, comes with significant costs. As Marshay continues to grow and excel, so do the expenses associated with her training and competition. We are raising funds to help cover the essential costs for the upcoming Junior Olympics, including travel, lodging, food, and entry fees. Our family and her coaches will be traveling with her to provide support and guidance throughout the competition.


The deadline to secure the necessary arrangements is July 27, 2025, so we are hoping to raise the funds as soon as possible. Any support will help ensure Marshay can represent her team and state at the Junior Olympics. Thank you for helping us make this journey possible for her.
