My name is Marshawna. I'm 39 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I'm scheduled to be induced tomorrow, August 13th, which is a very small window.

I've been looking and calling around for resources to get help with rental assistance, and it hasn't been easy. I have little to no family here to help, which puts me in an extremely tight situation. I just need a little help paying my rent and electric bill for this month. I plan to go back to work as soon as the 6 weeks is up. My job title was a paraprofessional up until May, and it's been rough looking for work since I'm so far along in the pregnancy. The dad hasn’t been able to find work that’s consistent but has been going to a day labor but that’s not paying much or it’s bearly getting us by.

My baby boy is a blessing that I want to stay strong for and explore every resource available to us.
