Freedom 4 Marshall Jones
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jessica Jones, the proud wife of my husband, Marshall Jones. We have been married over two years, and we are entering into the next season in our quest for freedom, and we need your help.
It's time for my husband to come home and be where he is meant to be, as the leader of our family and an impactful citizen of our community that ads extreme value.
Marshall has been incarcerated for almost 22 years and has outgrown his prison environment by leaps and bounds. He is a mediator and walking testimony of reformation in the WI prison system and a complete waste of our tax paying dollars. Just to name a few of his many accomplishments throughout his incarceration are, he is a devoted husband to his wife and an engaged stepfather with his kids. He is a published author of two works, a book of poetry called, 'A Raven's Meal' and his memoir, 'The Prodigal Son a Prisoner's Story of Redemption'. He is also restorative justice graduate, a college graduate with honors, a current college student where he is gaining his bachelor's degree in biblical studies paired with a minor in psychology through the Trinity International University. Marshall has completed all programming the DOC has to offer and if it weren't for school, he would be making his own programming for his continued growth. He has outgrown the DOC, and he is ready for freedom.
Even though Marshall has outgrown his prison environment, he makes sure to assist any of the brothers around him in their own journey of rehabilitation. He pours into those that are on the edge of change and helps direct them to a better way. Marshall has overcome the street life thinking and he pays it forward to every young brother that has a release date and even those that have extreme sentences like himself. He wants the cycle of crime to end in the free world, and he knows it starts right where he is now.
From his prison environment, Marshall not only pours into those that are housed with him, but he pours into free people through the social media platforms he administers with his wife and a dear friend Peter, who resides in Canada. With Jessica, the private FB group called "Forged by Fire: Iron Sharpening Iron", is a platform where we pour into people spiritually, mentally, and from time to time, physically. This platform was created during Covid where we wanted to give people an outlet to be lead in their physical fitness journeys, but also for it to be a platform that poured into the tripart being of people. So, for five years Marshall has built bible devotions that are nuggets for the daily life. These devotions give biblical history, pours into the mental health of people, and gives application for life now. Our efforts have blessed many people, and we are thankful for how God has used us with the FB platform.
To pair with the "Forged by Fire; Iron Sharpening Iron", Marshall has lead bible devotions on a platform called, "Red Thread Poets" (www.redthreadpoets.com). This platform is based out of Canada and has poets from all over the world that share the works they write, all glorifying God above. Our dear friend Peter saw the anointing Marshall has been given and created a space solely for Marshall to share the word of God on the poetry platform Peter started during the Covid era. This segment of the platform is called, "Red Granite Daily Devotions" where over 1,1100 devotionals and six eBooks have been written in the past five years. Peter is a great friend and advocate for our freedom, and we are beyond thankful for his friendship.
When Marshall comes home...
When Marshall returns home, we will be going back into the prisons to do prison ministry. We will have to wait for a year before we can return as guests, but nevertheless, we will be returning to prison to share the goodness of God. We want to show how God can break the chains of bondage by surrendering your will and life to Him, and how He can make all things new no matter how far one has fallen. We are thankful for the testimony God has built in our story, individually and collectively and we hope you will choose to be part of this miracle in the making with us.
If you are considering donating to our cause, please know all donations received will be funding an online movement that will promote our freedom, build advocacy within political and judicial entities, and promote second chance initiatives for those confined, including Marshall.
If you would like to support us in more ways than one, please send your word of support for Marshall's freedom by emailing a letter of recommendation to us. If you have been impacted by our story, by my husband's rehabilitation and his positive perspective, and by how we live our life now, we want and need your words to help us in the next part of this process.
Another way to show your support is by purchasing a copy of our memoir, 'A Prisoner's Story of Redemption' https://a.co/d/bUAs7l1
found on Amazon and all other major online bookstores. Don't only purchase but please read it and take the journey through a life that shows you God is waiting for the prodigals.
Lastly, share us on your social media platforms, tag us, and be sure to join us on our Facebook platform, Forged by Fire; Iron Sharpening Iron!
Thank you for joining this journey with us! We can't do this without you! God bless you ALL!
Love,
Marshall and Jessica
