Help Marsha Start Fresh After Losing Her Daughter
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,
This Mother’s Day, my sister Marsha experienced the unimaginable—she lost her beloved daughter, Isha, at just 30 years old due to complications related to her kidneys. Isha was her first child, her best friend, and her daily source of strength.
Marsha has always been a fighter. She’s worked tirelessly packaging goods at a warehouse just to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table. But this loss has shaken her to her core. She’s now facing not only the emotional toll of losing one of her four children but also the daunting task of rebuilding her life.
In the midst of this heartbreak, Marsha has found a small spark of hope. She dreams of starting her own food business—a dream she and Isha talked about often. Marsha is a phenomenal cook, known in our community for her comforting dishes and warm spirit. Opening her own kitchen would give her a renewed sense of purpose and the chance to honor Isha’s memory through something they both loved.
We’re raising funds to help Marsha take the first steps toward that dream—covering basic startup costs like equipment, permits, and initial supplies—so she can leave her exhausting day job and begin again on her own terms.
Any amount you can give, no matter how small, will help Marsha turn her pain into purpose. And if you can’t donate, sharing this Go Fund Me means the world.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, support, and prayers during this time.
With love and gratitude,
The John Family
