Hi, my name is Heather. I am raising funds to help my dear friend Marsha and her daughter Zandria. Mother's Day weekend 2022, Marsha was hospitalized for a week, for a large, extruded disc fragment at L5-S1, completely effacing the right lateral recess. In other terms, a severe herniated disc causing almost complete numbness from the hip down on the right side. She is home now, on complete bedrest and is expected to consult for surgery this coming week. Unable to work to support herself and Zandria, she is rapidly approaching many unknowns in downtime, recovery, and financial woes.

Meanwhile, Zandria, who will be turning 21 in September, has been increasing her hours at work to help make ends meet while going to school to become a phlebotomist. She starts her internship this next week.

Marsha is an unbelievably resilient woman. A phenomenal Mother. An irreplaceable friend. To know her is to love her. If you know me well, she was by my side on my wedding day and has been since we met 20 years ago.

If you aren’t aware, she lost her mother a few years back and her dad is disabled himself. She has ALWAYS kept things afloat for her, her family, and her friends.
