Last week, my little cousin Mar’Sean and his girlfriend Jada were involved in a tragic car accident caused by a man fleeing the scene of a gas station robbery. While running from the police, the suspect crashed into the driver’s side of Jada's car, while Mar'Sean was driving, leaving Mar'Sean critically injured. The suspect did not survive the crash and the devastation he left behind has changed my young cousin's life in an instant. Mar’Sean is now in the ICU, fighting through immense pain. He suffered a collapsed lung, a broken tibia, a broken collarbone, a laceration to his spleen, and now a possible brain injury. On top of that, he has severe facial and jaw injuries that will require multiple surgeries to repair. His road to recovery will be long and difficult, and the financial burden is overwhelming for him and his family. To make matters even worse, the perpetrator had no car insurance, meaning that all medical expenses and surgeries will fall entirely on Mar’Sean and his loved ones. He is a hardworking young man in college with a bright future ahead, but this accident has put everything on hold. Mar’Sean is a beloved son, brother, cousin, boyfriend, and friend to many. He is kind, driven, and full of life, and this tragic event has deeply impacted everyone who knows and loves him. We are asking for any help to support his medical expenses and recovery.
