Help Marriah beat a rare form of Heart Failure!
Donation protected

I am Cheyenne, little sister of Marriah who is an incredible friend, sister, dog mom, and south Jersey rockstar diagnosed with a ridiculously rare heart failure disease ,Fibromyalgia as well as POTS. Many of you have asked how you can help. To be honest, Marriah needs your help to reduce the financial stress of this awful diagnosis.
Marriah is one of the coolest, smartest, and most loving people you will ever meet. When Marriah isn’t hanging out with her dog gizmo, she’s reading, or was working at the veterans home, doing what she loves more than anything else. Unfortunately, due to her recent diagnosis, she’s unable to work and participate in any of that, Marriah has worked in the nurses field since she was 14 years old, starting as a candy striper and working her way up there’s nothing she loves more than helping our elderly.
Since August of 2020, when Marriah was diagnosed with heart failure and POTS, she has faced not only a health challenge, but a financial one as well. Marriah had to withdraw from her career as she was unable to perform her job safely for the residence. Marriah has refocused her life to begin the fight of her lifetime. After almost 3 years of going through test and procedures with some of the worlds best cardiac teams at Penn Presbyterian, copper, and John Hopkins Marriah has been referred to the Mayo clinic with one of the few specialists in the world in this type of rare POTS and heart failure.
The plan for the next few months is to continue research and test over the next few weeks. Marriah has developed a new symptom that is causing convulsions and a huge strain on her body, physically and mentally. The doctors hope to figure out this Neuro component of her heart failure with as little impact on her body as possible. Then Marriah will hopefully be able to focus on diagnosing and treating her heart failure and pots.
I have always admired my older sister, but never more than now, as I see her ready to take on the fight of her life. I want to invite you to walk with Marriah during this difficult time in prayer, in words, and in finances. With the costly, frequent transportation logistics to and from Rochester Minnesota, the expensive and specialized hotel stays near the Mayo Clinic, her high insurance deductible, and the many other added expenses required for her treatments, this process extends beyond her financial means and will prove more expensive as the weeks and months go on.
Any size donation will help cushion the financial impact on Marriah, so she can turn her whole focus on healing. Thank you for you help.
