Hi! My name is Jimmya, and I am raising funds for my sister, Marquita. Marquita is battling a lot right now, and anything would help.

She has always been there for others, and I want to give her as much help as possible while she goes through this challenging time. Here is her story:

Marquita lost her job in February because she was in the hospital for weeks without knowing when she would be released and able to work again, so they terminated her from her work-from-home position. She has been in and out of the hospital for months, each time uncovering a new and frustrating ailment. She has currently been in the hospital for two weeks with no release in sight. The current hospitalization has been because of a terrible gout flare-up that has caused her to be unable to walk and use her legs. She will have to be in physical therapy to learn to walk independently. In addition to gout, she also only has 15% kidney function and is in the process of dialysis.

On top of all of her medical issues, she is facing eviction because of her constant hospitalization and no ability to work. With medical bills piling up and her home being sentenced to eviction, she is in dire need of any support you all can give. Even if you can not provide monetary support, prayers, and shares are welcome and appreciated because once she is discharged from the hospital, she will have to go to rehab.
