Help Marquis Walk Again: A Father’s Journey of Resilience
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Marquis Twyman, and I’m reaching out to ask for community support on a journey that forever changed my life. On November 1, 2019, I survived a tragic car accident that claimed three other lives. As the only survivor, I live with both physical and emotional scars, and I’m committed to honoring those we lost by fighting to rebuild my life.

The accident took away my ability to walk, and I now rely on a wheelchair for mobility. While the journey has been filled with pain and challenges, my family’s love and encouragement keep me motivated every day. As a father of four, I’m determined to regain my strength and independence, not only to walk again but to continue being actively present for my kids at every game, practice, and school event.

However, the specialized rehabilitation therapy I need to regain mobility is not covered by insurance, and the financial burden has become overwhelming. That’s why I’m seeking support to help cover:
- Intensive rehabilitation sessions to help me regain mobility and, hopefully, walk again
- Essential mobility aids and equipment to support my daily needs
- Travel and living expenses tied to ongoing therapy
- Family support to allow me to focus on my recovery and healing
If you know of any organizations that can assist in this journey, please reach out, as every resource helps. Your support—whether through a donation or simply sharing this campaign—brings me closer to standing on my own two feet again, honoring the lives lost, and being there for my family in every way I can.
This journey is about more than physical recovery; it’s about resilience, family, and honoring the lives of those no longer here. Thank you for being part of my journey and giving me hope that one day, I’ll walk again.
