Help Marnie's United States of America Pageant Campaign

Hi Friends and Family,

As you all have heard, I have recently been honored to take over the title of USOA Ms. Texas. Just to give you a little background, I was honored with the title of Ms. Houston and competed last October for the title of Ms. Texas, and placed 1st runner-up. About three weeks ago, I was informed I had officially won the title. Due to the matter's sensitivity, I cannot share details.

However, all that matters is that the Lord returned the opportunity to me. I am honored to represent the State of Texas at the United States of America Pageant. Due to my late start preparing for nationals, I am working overtime to pull all aspects of my involvement in this massive competition together. One of the disadvantages is that I haven't had time to seek national sponsors. One of my incredible friends and prayer partners suggested I notify folks via gofundme.com to gain as much support as possible.

Well, here we are! I have many expenses associated with this national competition, including fitness trainer, pageant coach, wardrobe, alterations, costume maker and the custom-made state costume, and onsite make-up artists used by all contestants (200 combined contestants 50 in each division). Because of the late notification that I will be representing Texas in the United States of America in the Ms. Division, I need my friends and family to help me get to the finish line on this one.

My platform is Food is Medicine, the incredible healing power of food. In addition, as always, I will continue allowing the love of Jesus to flow through me to help transform the lives of women across this nation and around the world.
