Hi, my name is Chelsea and I'm fundraising for my dear friend and neighbor, Marnie-Lynn Common.

Our beautiful friend Marnie has received the kind of news no one is ever prepared for. After bravely fighting melanoma, she’s been told that the cancer has spread to her brain. Doctors have given her a prognosis of just six months to live.

As if that weren’t enough heartbreak for one week, Marnie also lost her job — leaving her and her husband Tom facing not only an unimaginable emotional battle, but serious financial strain as well. Tom has decided to take time off work to be by her side, to make every day count, and to cherish the time they have together.

Anyone who knows Marnie knows how deeply she cares for others. She’s the first to show up when someone needs a hand, a laugh, or a shoulder to cry on. She’s strong, loving, and full of light — and now she needs our help to make this time as peaceful and meaningful as possible.
