Hello, my name is Alicia and about two weeks ago, on April 15, 2024, my brother Marlon Hamilton was hit by a car. His arm is broken and 5 vertebrae in his neck are broken. He was taken to Spanish Town Hospital initially and stayed there until April 23rd. He needed to be transferred to Kingston Public Hospital because they don’t have orthopedic surgery capabilities in Spanish Town to operate on his neck.

As you might imagine, he has been in a great deal of pain, and the pain medicine that he has received thus far has been insufficient, so he is still in a lot of pain on a daily basis.

Currently, I am raising funds to cover the cost of his neck operation.

The total amount for the medications needed as well as the operation are 400,000 JMD. This is approximately equal to:
