Money for Marlo Polston’s kids: Ivy and Hunter

Please help our dear friend Marlo‘s kids !

Marlo Polston moved from Alameda to Texas some years ago with her two children, Hunter and Ivy and her mother Barbara. Ivy is expecting Marlo’s first grandchild in August. 

Eight weeks ago, Marlo received the Johnson and Johnson vaccine for COVID 19. Ten to fourteen days after her injection, she developed symptoms that’s sent her to the Emergency Room where she was admitted and developed blood clots shortly thereafter. A clot in her head led to bleeding, swelling, and a stroke. A surgical procedure was performed to remove a portion of her skull to alleviate pressure on her brain and to prevent further brain damage. She has also lost blood flow to her thumb and index finger on her dominant hand which will require amputation.

Marlo has been in an induced coma since the surgery a month ago and her prognosis is uncertain. The doctors do not know the extent of her brain damage and therefore cannot predict her recovery. They say she will likely require long term care and therapy to regain her speech, to eat, and walk.
