Help Marley get to NAPA Therapy Center
Donation protected
My incredible niece Marley was born with a rare genetic condition called, Schaaf-Yang syndrome. Schaaf-Yang syndrome is caused by a mutation in the MAGEL2 gene on chromosome 15. Children with SYS can have low muscle tone (hypotonia), feeding difficulties, developmental delay, intellectual disability, and autism spectrum disorder. They also typically have joint contractures, affecting the finger joints and sometimes the knees and elbows. With the early diagnosis my sister Jordyn and Marley were met with a lot of challenges that they have continued to overcome with continual learning, advocating and grit. Although Marley has made leaps and bounds with her weekly therapy here at home, this opportunity to spend an intensive three weeks at the Napa, a World-Renowned Pediatric Therapy Center would be life changing.
It is my hope that we can band together to take the financial burden off my sisters shoulders and pay the cost of Marley’s therapy, flights for both Marley and Jordyn along with housing and transportation as the conference is in Denver Colorado.
Thank you for considering contributing what you are able!
