update. Marley has been in complete kidney failure for a week now. Unfortunately due to the severity of his condition and the unfortunate lack of any improvement in anything, his vet and I chatted for quite a while and i ultimately have had to make the decision to send my sweet boy over the rainbow bridge this coming week. His vet and I agreed his quality of life just isn’t there anymore and he is very clearly suffering. All of this has been one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I’m losing my little boy. My best friend, the love of my life. But he will no longer be in pain. He will be chasing all the squirrels and birds again, shaking y

Hi there! I’m Jenn Ward. My sweet prince Marley has been extremely sick since this past saturday. It began seeming as if it was some sort of bad stomach issue. But on upon tests at the vet, it’s been discovered it’s possible kidney failure. My little love of my life just turned 13 april 30th and has been otherwise healthy until now. Tests have shown his kidney numbers have been elevated so over 4 days of all day care at the vet with iv meds, fluids, tests, xrays…the works, have come back with the results of kidney infection and because of the severity an acute injury to the kidneys with the beginning stages if failure. So its just a matter of time now. He’s began a special soft food diet to keep him interested in eating so he’s rather bougie now if you ask me! This bill is going to be so much more than the help im reaching out for but I dont want to overstep, I hate asking for help. But this time, i really need it.
