Hello! My name is Marley, and this'll be my 8th year doing percussion. I've been playing mallets for the past ~5 years, and I hope to continue that this summer when I march in the Columbians DBC. However, in order to march I had to make the decision to stay living at home because I wouldn't be able to afford both moving out and doing Columbians. This has been pretty difficult for me as my plan always was to move out at 18, but since I will age out of drum corps at 21 I know that I have to do it now. I work 2 jobs and pay for the majority of my own food and expenses, which has been tough while I've been trying to save. Any contribution will help immensely and is greatly appreciated :) I'm very excited to be a part of this program, because I know that it will help me grow both as a musician, and as a person.
