Hello everyone, my name is Jessica. I am from Atlanta, Georgia and I am raising funds on behalf of a friend in Gaza. Her name is Marlene Al-Khatib and she is displaced in Mawasi, Khan Younis. She is 27 years old and has two children. Her husband is fighting an infection which has caused him to be disabled. They are originally from the North of Gaza and were forcibly displaced.

The fundraiser is meant to gather funds to help their family become more stable through the purchase of a tent to protect them from the rain. The funds will also be used to buy clothes, milk and diapers for her children. They also wish to restore their old house when they are able to return home.
