Hi, my name is Marlene Cabrera, and I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart but also with hope.

On October 18, 2022, I was diagnosed with malignant endometrial cancer, a life-changing moment that forced me into a battle I never expected to face alone. I underwent surgery, and by the grace of God, the cancer was removed. For the past two years, I have been cancer-free, believing that chapter of my life was behind me.

But during my most recent check-up, I received the devastating news that the cancer has returned. At first, I was overwhelmed with sadness, anger, and fear, but I know I can’t give up. I have fought before, and I will fight again.

This time, however, the battle will be even tougher. My treatment will be intensive, requiring my full strength and focus. Unfortunately, I will be unable to work during this time, making it impossible to cover my medical expenses, treatments, and basic living costs on my own.
