Right before Christmas of 2024, I saw a dog wander up to me at my sister's house. She was cold, timid, skin and bones. I decided then that I would take her home with me after we got back from the trip. I named her Marlee and since bringing her home, I have given her the best home and safe place I can provide. I got her vaccinated and treated for parasites and other issues developed from neglect. I also found out she had heartworms and tested highly positive for this. I decided to prepare to fight for this dog's life. Her second vet visit brought shocking and joyful news. She was pregnant! She gave birth to 6 female puppies, which is nearly impossible. Can you believe it, all girls?! After giving birth, more issues developed with her breathing and bronchitis, possibly heavily related to her heartworm diagnosis. I have done and continue to do my best to afford her bills. However, I do want to reach out to the world to help her get treated. I just want anything that anyone can afford to give to help. All donations will go to her current bills and any she has in the future.
