Dear Friends, Family, and Kind hearts,

Mark is focused on healing and following the care plan laid out by his medical team. He is doing well and plans to make use of his down time to continue learning and growing and working on accepting life on life’s terms but at the same time carving his own path. The doctors expect a 6–8 week recovery period, during which Mark won’t be able to work at normal capacity. This makes it especially difficult to cover medical costs, housing, and basic living expenses while focusing on healing. This diagnosis came as a shock, and it’s been an incredibly difficult time for him. Mark has always been someone who brightens every room and is always there for others. Now it’s our turn to be there for him during this tough battle.

As a result, we’ve set up this GoFundMe to help with medical expenses, living costs, and other essential needs so that Mark can focus on getting better without worrying about the financial burden. Every donation—no matter how big or small—will make a world of difference in supporting his recovery.
