Help Mark Zahuranec Rebuild After a Devastating House Fire

We’re heartbroken to share that our cousin, Mark Zahuranec, along with his brother Matt and two tenants, lost everything in a devastating house fire. While we’re deeply grateful that everyone—and the dogs—made it out safely, the fire destroyed all their belongings: clothing, furniture, and irreplaceable memories. Overnight, they were left displaced with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

Mark is a proud veteran of the Persian Gulf War, known not only for his service but also for his incredible generosity. He’s a pillar in his community—always the first to lend a hand, share a meal, or bring people together through his love of cooking. Whether feeding workers at the local pool or stepping up when others are in need, Mark has always gone above and beyond for those around him.

Now it’s our turn to show up for him. Mark urgently needs support to cover temporary housing, basic necessities, and the long process of rebuilding his life from scratch.
