Our dad Mark Ackerman had a stroke on Friday July 21st. He was in the hospital for 7 days. He had a hemorrhagic cerebellar stroke which is brain bleed in the back of his head. Luckily, he made it through. He is currently in rehab, but it may be a long road to recovery. Terri, our mom, is unable to work during this time. She is a flight attendant and cannot be that far away from Mark. When Dad returns home, she will need to stay home to take care of him until he can walk on his own.

Unfortunately, insurance does not cover all the rehab costs. Our parents do not have any income for this period of recovery. This together with the rehab cost is a very challenging time for them financially. Any help would mean so much to relieve the financial stress during this already difficult time. Thank you.
