Help Mark Weirick's Family Through This Tragic Loss

We all lost a great Father, Husband and Friend when Mark Weirick passed away unexpectedly on Sunday September 9, 2024 as a result of sudden health complications. Downtown Kalamazoo lost a good ambassador and the rest of the world lost a really, REALLY good person. We need more like him.

Mark is survived by his wife and four children. He was a dedicated father who was involved in and/or coached each of his children's chosen activities like Fishing, Hockey, Little League and Softball.

While Mark was a "give the shirt off his back" kind of guy and would drop what he was doing to help anyone in need, he would never ask for this kind of help himself.

Therefore we, the owners of the Kalamazoo Building and the rest of his downtown community, are asking that you make a tribute to his legacy in the hopes that we can help Mark's family cover the unexpected expenses flowing from this tragedy. In the end, we hope this fund will help his family understand, in some small way, how irreplaceable he is to us as well.
