HELP MARK TO KEEP LIVING

Esta es la historia de Mark! Es una de las mejores personas que he conocido en esta vida, y he visto como ha perdido su propia vida y sus oportunidades por una condición llamada SCA que hace que su cuerpo y extremidades vayan perdiendo fuerza y se deterioren a lo largo del tiempo. Para ser breves de cómo llegó a esta condición, pues como todos nosotros vivía una vida normal, graduado como Cirujano Estético y ayudando a cada persona que se cruza en su camino. Fue estafado con 30mil dólares lo cual le causó un ataque cerebro vascular (ACV) lo cual le generó SCA (Spino cerebellar Ataxia) y automáticamente perdió la capacidad de hablar y caminar correctamente. Ha sido 2 años de lucha que hemos intentado conseguir tratamientos, medicinas y ayuda para él, pero a veces tener tan limitados tus recursos hace imposible buscar esa ayuda! Sus manos no pueden escribir, tampoco puede hablar bien y ya no tiene la capacidad de levantarse sin la silla de ruedas. Es el menor en su familia, todos sus hermanos son mayores y con problemas de salud igual. Fue desalojado de su hogar y obligado a vivir en un espacio en la casa de su mamá, donde apenas tiene lo necesario ya que su mamá también está enferma , justo ahora tiene 92 y está en el hospital. Mark no tiene ningún tipo de ingreso y las pocas ayudas que recibe no son suficientes para cubrir su TRATAMIENTO que debe ser constante y las terapias físicas para que no se deteriore más su cuerpo. Debe realizarse una NEUROCIRUGIA para poder seguir viviendo y estos costos son mayores que 20 mil dólares.

Escribo esto con el corazón en la mano y la fe de que así como Dios tocó mi corazón también puede tocar el suyo y aportar con lo que sea posible para ti, será un alivio para Mark saber que puede seguir viviendo y un agradecimiento eterno por ayudarnos a devolverle al menos su tranquilidad.

This is Mark's story! He is one of the best people I have ever met in this life, and I have seen how he has lost his own life and his opportunities due to a condition called SCA (Spino Cerebellar Ataxia) that causes his body and limbs to lose strength and deteriorate over time. To be brief about how he came to this condition, because we all lived a normal life, graduated as an Aesthetic Surgeon and helping each person who crosses his path. He was scammed with 30 thousand dollars which caused a STROKE and he automatically lost the ability to speak and walk correctly. It has been 2 years of struggle that we have tried to get treatments, medicines and help for him, but sometimes having your resources so limited makes it impossible to seek that help! His hands can't write, he can't speak well either and he no longer has the ability to get up without the wheelchair. He is the youngest in his family, all his siblings are older and with the same health problems. He was evicted from his home and forced to live in a space in his mother's house, where he barely has what he needs since his mother is also sick, right now he is 92 and is in the hospital. Mark does not have any type of income and the little help he receives is not enough to cover his TREATMENT that must be constant and physical therapies so that his body does not deteriorate further. A NEUROSURGERY must be performed in order to continue living and these costs are greater than 20 thousand dollars.

I write this with my heart in my hand and the faith that just as God touched my heart he can also touch his and contribute with what is possible for you, it will be a relief for Mark to know that he can continue living and an eternal gratitude for helping us to return at least his peace of mind.
