I don't ask for help often, but I have been myself, taking care of my three adult children and their significant others, my disabled wife and I was just diagnosed with Stage 3 Throat Cancer.

Not being a drinker or a smoker, this has caught me totally off guard, with no insurance to help with costs and No savings because my wives health insurance cancelled her in 2018 and I have been paying for everything using only my income which will inevitably become less as I go through Radiation therapy.

How I got to this point:

I have had a swollen right tonsil on and off for a couple years and despite seeing an ENT in 2023, I only thought it to be an infection until the past few months that have been accumulating growths on my neck, at first on my right side, then on my left, then under my chin. It became obvious more was going on than I wanted. I visited Angel Medical center around Christmas and a CT confirmed a large soft tissue mass with metastatic

bilateral cervical chain lymphadenopathy concerning for squamous cell carcinoma. I visited ENT Dr. Roche on 2/17 who confirmed via biopsy, P16 positive Stage 3 Throat Cancer.

Please keep me in your prayers and if it is in your ability in these stretched thin times to donate please do so. Just my PET scans are $1,400 and the full course of therapy could be over $150,000, I have to come up with $22,000 cash to start radiation which will be every weekday for 3 months. Chemotherapy is to start soon after, but I have not gotten an estimate for that yet. Anything will help and I am very appreciative.
