In November of 2024, my amazing stepdad Mark was diagnosed with ALS. Since then, our lives have been flipped upside down. He can no longer do what he loves: play guitar, cook, play video games, and in his words: "wipe his own ass." Even the mundane is missed, dining out, traveling, going to the store with my mom, walking with our dogs, and gardening.

We have found a treatment center that looks promising to help his speech, movement, and overall well-being.

Mark came into my life when I was 9 and I've never laughed harder than I have with him and my mom. He's shown me so much love and support, and I'll never be able to thank him enough for everything. Even wheelchair bound he's shown up everywhere to support me and my family. Any and all support is appreciated to help us through this journey.
