Hello Friends, Family, and Co-workers. 

I would like to share the updated Health Report for Mark. LaShonda is sharing his Progress Report, Diagnoses and Rehabilitation plan. Please continue to pray, it’s going to be a long recovery-if you’re able to donate, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all for your support during this difficult time. To date, Mark has made tremendous progress! He is off the ventilator, and his trach has been removed. We are so thankful that God has granted him another chance. Unfortunately, because of his illness, and the lack of oxygen to his brain, Mark has been diagnosed with Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy, a brain injury.

We prayed for a miracle, and God is granting us just that. Mark is currently in a local Rehab facility, where he is receiving PT, OT, and Speech Therapy daily. He is back in “Basic Training!” 

Once a Marine, always a Marine…

We still have a long road ahead of us as he must re-learn how to do basic care for himself, as well as speak, and walk. We are in the process of making modifications to our home to accommodate his current needs.

Mark is a very determined, strong-willed individual. We know that with continued prayer, care, and support from our family and friends, he will make an impactful recovery.
