I hope this message finds you well. My name is Christina, and I am reaching out to share a deeply personal situation that my husband, Mark McGowan, is currently facing. On September 16, 2024, Mark suffered a significant stroke, and he is now on a long road to recovery.

As we navigate this challenging journey together, we are doing everything we can to ensure Mark has a safe and comfortable environment to come home to after his in-hospital rehabilitation. Unfortunately, some essential medical expenses are not covered by our insurance, and we are in need of assistance.

To make our home safer for Mark, we need to move him to the first floor to avoid the hazards of stairs. Additionally, we require a twin sized bed with an adjustable frame to help elevate his head and feet, as well as a medical chair that reclines and is movable on wheels. In addition to a ramp that needs to be installed before his homecoming. These items are crucial for not only his safety but also his overall well-being.
