Our friend and colleague, Mark Lomoglio, was hit by a car on the evening of March 10th breaking both ankles, his hand, and injuring his knee.
You’ll remember Mark from several of his roles as an outstanding sports photographer in the Tampa Bay area, working with the New York Yankees and the Tampa Bay Lightning/Amalie Arena among other major events he is asked to cover in the city.
Like many of us, Mark was negatively impacted by Covid-19 and the event cancellations that happened as such. Things were looking up recently as events were coming back and his schedule getting booked. Unfortunately, that has now changed and we are devastated for our friend.
Most of you know Mark as the photographer that ONLY wears shorts and Vans shoes, with ear buds in, who is a self-described introvert but is hilariously funny – HOWEVER – he is so much more. Mark is a single Dad, raising his daughter Arianna on his own since her birth. If you follow him on Instagram (@molograming) you will see Mark and Arianna are as thick as thieves as they pose for their morning selfie (they’ve been doing this for years). Mark is a tremendous Father and we are really proud of him.
As you can imagine, things are going to be pretty tough for Mark and Arianna as he tries to recover from his injuries. He will be unable to work for some time.
If there is anything you can do to help ease the financial worries Mark will face as he tries to recover, we would greatly appreciate it.
