Help Mark Kelly Pursue a Master’s in Music Education
Hi, my name is Mark Kelly, and I am reaching out for your support to help me take the next step in my journey toward achieving my dreams. I am a veteran, a bilateral amputee, and a survivor, living with PTSD, depression, and anxiety. Despite the challenges I’ve faced, I am determined to continue pushing forward and building a brighter future.
My Story
As a veteran, I’ve learned the value of resilience and perseverance. Although my limb loss is not service-related, my experiences have shaped who I am today.
I am also a survivor of childhood sexual abuse (not by family). The trauma from that experience has followed me into adulthood, but I’ve worked tirelessly to overcome it. Music became my outlet for healing, my passion, and my purpose.
Recently, I achieved a major milestone by earning my bachelor’s degree, and now I am preparing to pursue a master’s in music. My ultimate goal is to teach music at the college level, where I can share my story and inspire others through the transformative power of music.
Why I Need Your Help
I am seeking to raise $5000.00 to cover essential expenses as I transition to graduate school, including:
• Transportation costs
• Storage fees
• Basic living expenses during this critical time
While I have overcome many obstacles, financial challenges remain a barrier. I am humbly asking for your support to help make my dream of further education a reality.
How Your Support Makes a Difference
Your donation will directly help me move closer to achieving my goals. Even if I received $1.00 from all of my social media friends, I would reach my goal. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes an impact
Thank You
I am so grateful for your kindness and generosity. By supporting me, you are not only helping me pursue my education, but also empowering me to share my passion for music and my story of resilience.
If you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign with others would mean the world to me.
Thank you for believing in me and for being a part of this journey.
With gratitude,
Mark Kelly
