Hello, a good friend Mark Johnson recently was medevac'd to Anchorage on a medical emergency with a long stay doing tests to figure out the cause.
Mark has Hodgkin's lymphoma, which is very treatable. He has 12 rounds of chemo. They put a port in him last week and gave him his first treatment. With a lot of willpower, a walker, and a mask on Mark they were able to get him home.
They have exhausted all options financially with the hospital stay, travel, appointments, post-care, and need support with their bills and upcoming medical bills. Mark is unable to work at this time. His wife, Dawn is returning to work but will still need to take time off to help him during his treatment.
His family requests that people can reach out by text or phone. His immune system is shot and cannot be around others at this time. Also that you keep him in good spirits! Mark still thrives off of humor, please be ready to laugh with him.
