Hi, my name is Danielle and I’m a former employee and current friend of Mark Edwards. As many of you know in November of 2021, Mark suffered a stroke. Since then he has been in a rehabilitation facility in Stamford, CT where he plans to stay for the next couple of months.  He is actively participating in physical therapy doing what he can do get as much of his strength back. He wants to start to make plans for once he is released to move back to Ridgefield, CT into handicap accessible housing. We are trying to raise money to help Mark get back on his feet and focus on his mental, physical, and emotional well-being once he is out- rather than automatically be stressed out by finances. The money will be used for every day expenses; bills, housing, groceries, etc. 

Anyone who knows Mark, knows that he is one of the nicest people you’ll have the pleasure of meeting. Whenever possible, he’s the first one to lend a helping hand and always answers the phone. He loves living in Ridgefield and has always been proud of building a business over 20 years ago in this town. When it’s not work, or the New England Patriots you can catch him talking about all the memories of playing for the Marist soccer team. Mark is excited to get stronger and come back to the town he calls home and be reunited with all of his friends again. 

He is already so incredibly grateful for all of the support, texts, messages, visits and calls that he’s received these last few months. He is in high spirits and working harder every day to make the best of an unfortunate situation.  I’ll be sure to post updates once they are made available.
