Hi, my name is Felix Rios and I'm raising money on behalf of one of my closest friends for over 35 years Mark Caballero. Mark was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 13 years ago and his physical mobility and overall quality of life has been steadily in decline. Up until his diagnosis he made a decent living in carpentry/painting but has since been forced to barely get by on a disability check. He has been in desperate need of a mobility scooter but has been afraid that he would lose the ability to walk completely if he were to rely on one. Last week he finally confided in me that he can no longer get by without one but he can not afford the one that would best meet his needs. He requires one that is lightweight that he can easily travel with but the ones covered by his and most insurance companies are the heavier bulky ones. He is too proud to ask anyone for assistance so I've decided to reach out to anyone who finds it in their heart to donate anything so that we can gift him the mobility scooter he desires (TravelScoot Escape) this Christmas. To know Mark is to love him and getting him this scooter would greatly aide him in moving around quickly and safely and allow him the ability to once again be the active father/grandfather/friend that he has always been.
