My name is Mark, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing a challenge I never expected. I have lung cancer, and recently I had to have the upper lobe of my right lung removed. The surgery and ongoing treatments have been overwhelming, both physically and financially. Even after insurance, I’m left with a mountain of medical bills that I just can’t manage on my own.

I’m currently on disability, which means my income is very limited. Every month, I have to stretch what I receive to cover not only my regular living expenses, but also the growing costs of doctor visits, hospital stays, and cancer treatments. Looking at it from where I sit, it’s a pretty big deal, and I honestly don’t see any other way to pay these bills than to ask for help.
