Help Mark Erdody fight his Hodgkin's Lymphoma

Our dear friend Mark Erdody was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, and he just started his course of Chemotherapy which is expected to be a 6 month course followed potentially by a round of radiation. Mark is one of the kindest, most genuine persons you will ever meet. He and his lovely wife Kara have 4 children Gavin, Tucker, Nolan, and Max. The Erdody’s have been a rock in the foundation of Braintree for 25 years. Mark was a Little League coach for 13 years and Kara has been involved in healthcare for the last 23 years. Their children have all been active in Braintree Youth Sports.

Mark got sober in 1988 and has been helping others achieve sobriety ever since. His involvement in the recovery community has been the cornerstone in his foundation for life.

In the 90’s and 2000’s Mark was involved in the Boston Rock-n-Roll scene playing guitar and singing in Kudgel and Bullpen Catcher. Mark is currently playing bass in Black Helicopter, and they will be landing the Helicopter for a bit but will come back in full force once Mark kicks this cancer’s butt.

Mark was involved in the Insurance Profession for 25 years as an expert in Workers Compensation and Self Insurance Groups. Mark left the corporate world 2 years ago to follow his passion for Holistic Healing and started the Non-Profit Healing and Wellness for Everyone. Its mission is to provide affordable holistic health care. Mark studied Usui Reiki and became a Reiki Master. Mark also developed a treatment he calls a Positivity Infusion which is a combination of Breath Work, Mindful Meditation, Spiritual Connection, Positive Affirmations and a Reiki Energy Clearing. Mark has been working with people with Mental Health issues and Substance Use Disorder. He has a passion for helping people find relief and teaching them the tools that can help them cope in everyday life.

Mark also has been doing short inspirational positive message videos on social media for the last 14 months and has posted over 500 videos on TikTok, Facebook Reels, Instagram, YouTube, Clapper, Twitter and Linked In.

The Healing Arts has not allowed Mark to earn much of a wage, a significant amount of his work is with those that can’t afford to pay. Mark has subsidized his income by driving Uber and working per diem in a Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program. Now Mark is going to be significantly immune compromised and will not be able to do any of this work for quite some time.

Now is your chance to give back to this man who tirelessly spreads his positive message and has helped so many people over the years. He has devoted his life to making a better community and now he needs support from that community. Our goal is to make sure Mark can keep up with his mortgage and other fixed expenses while he takes the time to heal and recuperate. The good news is with Mark’s positive mental attitude and the skilled oncologists at Beth Israel, his form of cancer is very treatable and curable.
