Hey everyone!

I am fundraising for my brother mark. To me he is my big brother. Someone I look up to. He is also an amazing father to five girls and life partner to his fiance Kristi. He is a friend, son, uncle to so many. He prides himself with his time with his family. Whether he is coaching his daughter's football team, going on a family camping trip or being the energy at family gatherings that make us laugh and love. He is a passionate person. All the things he has come to enjoy and love have come to a crashing halt. Less than a week ago, He was spending time with his family as usual at home when he was playing with one of his daughters, Which resulted in him being jumped on. He then suddenly experienced enormous pain. He was going to brush it off and see his doctor the following Monday. Alarmingly he soon realized that could not happen. He soon after started experiencing symptoms that could not be ignored. Shortly after, he decided to go to the emergency. As you could imagine, the fear at this point caused by the sudden onset of pain and life-altering symptoms. The doctors knew the urgency to run tests and discover what the cause was. After a CT scan, doctors soon discovered cancer on mark's kidney. The overwhelming feelings of losing his life came crashing. In all of this his only concerns were the others around him. What about my girls he said? What about my family?. Now that he has had several scans, we now know that he will have his kidney removed. He will have to undergo chemo. Mark and Kristi will both have to miss work to go through this long road to recover and make sure he kicks this cancers ass. We all need to come together and support their family so they do not need to financially worry about all their bills when they need to take days off work for surgery and treatment.
