Hi, my name is Nina Riggall. Stephanie and Mark Desmarais are two of my very dearest friends. Mark is a friend, a husband, a father, a son, a brother and so much more. Anyone who knows him, knows what a kind, caring, generous, loving (and hilarious) person he is. In late May of this year, Mark was diagnosed with prostate cancer, acinar adenocarcinoma. Thankfully, it was caught in the early stages, however, he will still have to undergo extensive treatment.

Mark and Stephanie would never ask anyone for anything, however, they could really use our help. Traveling for treatments, missing time at work and the constant medical bills will have a huge impact. Especially having 3 kids: Belle, who is starting college this year, Ben, who is in middle school and Charlee, who is starting kindergarten. Any donation big or small would help ease the burden his diagnosis has put on their family. That way they can focus on Mark’s healing.

We are hosting a benefit to help raise funds in September. This GoFundMe is for anyone willing to make donations, who want to contribute but cannot attend the benefit, etc.
