I don’t even know where to start, but I guess I’ll start from the beginning. Most people will recognize the name Mark DallaValle from Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. A lot of people’s lives have been touched by my brother, whether he helped you or a loved one as a tech on 7th floor orthopedics, or as a RN in the operating room.

I can not tell you how many people, after hearing Mark is my brother, tell me such inspiring stories of how he impacted their or their family members lives. I listened with pride, but hoping I could live up to his compassion, sincerity, and knowledge.

In 2013 right after supporting his youngest son as he went through treatment for Hodgkin lymphoma, Mark was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

After 3 brain surgeries along with radiation and a couple courses of chemotherapy, he was once again told he needs all three right now or his life expectancy will be a very short.

Mark is choosing to do the treatments, but the cost of his medical bills will be a struggle for him and his family.
