There aren’t many potters in the Willamette Valley who have impacted the wood fire community like Mark Terry. He's not only a close friend of mine, but a mentor and friend of many, spending more than 30 years spreading the gift of art to students at George Fox.

Mark is currently building his 3rd wood fire kiln in Newberg, OR, and I thought it might be a good idea to support him as he has supported so many others. The kiln itself is close to complete, but there is a big hurdle in acquiring kiln shelves these day, and I am setting up this GoFundMe to see if we can't lessen the financial burden on Mark and his Family.

If you've ever been involved in a wood fire, or a class with Mark, you know community comes first and foremost. As with all the kilns in his past, I'm sure this kiln will be loved and shared by many potters here in the PNW.
