Hi my name is Ben and I’m starting this GoFundMe for a friend of mine, and soon to be father-in-law Mark Batz. Mark just suffered a massive heart attack and underwent a triple bypass surgery. The open heart surgery was not as successful as we hoped and now requires ANOTHER surgery and quite possibly a pacemaker.

Many of you know Mark through WestCoast Auto in Atascadero and know what a genuine and wonderful man Mark is to many of us.

Mark has insurance, but after finding out he has high deductible (I think around 30k) and after that will have to pay 50% of his hospital bill (and his FIRST surgery was well over 100k) you can see we REALLY need to help him and his family.

Mark is a very kind soul and having known him for over 15 years…I’ve never seen him do anything extravagant, and is always working. Mark never asks for help and has always helped. He now needs our help more than ever.
