Hi, my name is Mark Baldwin Jr. My family and I are reaching out to ask for help during one of the hardest times in our lives. My father, Mark Baldwin Sr., was recently diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer. This news has turned our world upside down, and we’re doing everything we can to support him.

My father, Mark Baldwin Sr., is 62 years old and has always been the strongest person I know. He’s a loving dad who worked hard to provide for us 4 kids. He loves spending time with his grandchildren and always tinkering on something. He’s someone you can count on no matter the situation. But this diagnosis has brought some challenges. The cancer has made it difficult for him to sleep at night, the side of his neck is pretty swollen, and he is having difficulty swallowing. Even with everything going on, he’s still acting like himself and tries to be in the best of spirits.

As of right now, the cancer hasn’t spread anywhere else besides the neck. There’s still a chance to beat this. And if you know my father, you know he’s not giving up easily. He’ll need around 30 radiation treatments. My family is doing all we can, but the medical costs are overwhelming.

That’s why I’ve started this GoFundMe.

According to his doctor, it could be upwards of $50,000 for the upcoming radiation treatments, doctor visits, and that’s not counting travel and everyday expenses. Our goal is set at $50,000, but anything is greatly appreciated. This will all help cover medical expenses, treatment costs, and give my dad some peace of mind as he fights this!! Every little bit helps, whether it’s a donation, a share, or just a kind word of encouragement.
