Hi there! My name is Sandra Weyant and I am fundraising for Mark Anthony’s Quality Printing in Lodi, N.J. My dad, Mark Weyant, built his company from the ground up and it has been in business for 35 years. He has put his heart and soul into keeping it running and providing for our family throughout the years.
When Hurricane Ida rolled through on September 1st, no one was prepared. My dad’s shop flooded with water up to 9 feet high (thankfully, no one was in the building at this time). His computers, electric and mechanical printing presses, and other machines are beyond repair. Hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of equipment, paper, and ink was lost. The shop is now filled with mud and wet paper everywhere. The only thing that survived the flood was a picture of our family hanging high on the wall, a reminder that family can withstand any storm.
I’m writing today to ask for help for my parents. If you know my parents, you know that they have the biggest hearts and always put others before themselves. In this time of need, my family has lost their sole source of income, and the future seems uncertain. We understand that times are tough for everyone and we truly appreciate every contribution, no matter how big or small. We are continuing to fight this fight, and hoping we will come out even stronger on the other side. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers.
