Help Mark and Victor get Top Surgery!

Hi my name is Patu, I am a 23 year old photography student who lives in Germany. I am collecting donations for my twin cousins Mark and Victor, who are both trans. They are both 19 years old and live in Poland, where it is especially hard for people in the LGBTQ+ Community. In Poland, there is currently no way health insurance would cover the cost of a Trans-related mastectomy. With a rather unsupportive family, jobs not paying well and both of them already having to pay for their Hormone Replacement Therapy it is pretty hard to come by that money on their own. The donation goal would cover the costs of both of their surgeries as well as their stay in Wroclaw (The location of their clinic of choice).

Knowing the pain they went through and are still currently experiencing, and also looking at the news and seeing how people like them are being treated in Poland, I don't want them to suffer any longer and I am hoping to get them as close as possible to their dream of finally living in a body that feels like it's their own.

Hallo, mein Name ist Patu, ich bin ein 23-jähriger Fotografiestudent, der in Deutschland lebt. Ich sammle Spenden für meine Zwillingscousins ​​Mark und Victor, die beide trans sind. Sie sind beide 19 Jahre alt und leben in Polen, wo es für Menschen in der LGBTQ+-Community besonders schwer ist. In Polen gibt es derzeit keine Möglichkeit, dass eine Krankenkasse die Kosten einer Trans-Mastektomie übernimmt. Mit einer eher wenig unterstützenden Familie, schlecht bezahlten Jobs und der Tatsache dass beide bereits für ihre Hormonersatztherapie zahlen müssen, ist es ziemlich schwierig, alleine an das Geld zu kommen. Das Spendenziel würde die Kosten für beide Operationen sowie ihren Aufenthalt in Breslau (dem Standort ihrer Wunschklinik) decken.

Da ich die Schmerzen kenne, die sie durchgemacht haben und immer noch erleben, und die Nachrichten anschaue und sehe, wie Menschen wie sie in Polen behandelt werden, möchte ich nicht, dass sie noch länger leiden, und hoffe, ihnen helfen zu können so nahe wie möglich an ihren Traum zu kommen, endlich in einem Körper zu leben, der sich anfühlt, als wäre er ihr eigener.

Cześć, nazywam się Patu, mam 23 lat, studiuję fotografię i mieszkam w Niemczech, . Zbieram fundusze dla moich kuzynów bliźniaków Marka i Victora, którzy są trans. Oboje mają po 19 lat i mieszkają w Polsce, gdzie jest to szczególnie trudno dla osób LGBTQ+.W Polsce obecnie nie ma możliwości pokrycia przez ubezpieczenie kosztów mastektomii. Z niewspierającą rodziną, nisko płatną pracą i faktem, że oboje już płacą za hormonalną terapię zastępczą, dość trudno jest samodzielnie zebrać pieniądze. Celem zbiórki było pokrycie kosztów obu operacji oraz pobytu w Wrocławiu (gdzie mieści się ich wymarzona klinika).

Znając ból, który przeżywali i nadal przeżywają, oglądając wiadomości i widząc, jak ludzie tacy jak oni są traktowani w Polsce, nie chcę, aby dłużej cierpieli i mam nadzieję, że będę mógł im pomóc zbliżyć się tak blisko, jak to możliwe, do ich marzenia o życiu w ciele, które wydaje się być ich własnym.
